How did Little Full Library get started?
We are a hobby project started by a PNW dad & daughter duo, who noticed some
stagnation in our local (and often home-made) community libraries.
We wanted to provide a no-cost means of helping out while also using the
project as opportunity to learn how to create an interactive website.
Are you associated with the Little Free Library organization?
No - Little Full Library is unaffiliated with Little Free Library, Ltd., or
its own Steward program.
Does Little Full Library collect any information from me?
Only the absolute minimum needed to make things work - your email address,
if you provide it. Other than that, we use cookies to keep you logged in,
but we never share those cookies or your information with third parties,
and we don't use tracking. See our Privacy Policy

Is the source code for Little Full Library available?
Soon! We're planning to release the full source code on github, but
we haven't quite yet figured out the right license.
You'll be welcome to host your own copy of Little Full Library - if you have
improvements or bug fixes, we'd love to recieve a pull request, but there's
no obligation to do so. We'd love it if you dropped us an email though, to
let us know how it's going!
Can I donate to help with server costs?
We very much appreciate the thought! For now though, the costs are minimal,
and so we would prefer that you direct your support to local literacy-focused
organizations. If Little Full Library's costs do exceed what we can afford,
we'll update this FAQ at that time.
Why does Little Full Library go offline sometimes?
We're currently self-hosting to keep costs and complexity low, and don't have
a static IP address.
This means that we may need to go offline for upgrades, and may be temporarily
unreachable when our ISP refreshes our IP address (usually, it only takes a few
minutes for our automation to notice & update our domain to point at the new
IP address, but it can take longer sometimes).
